H.R. 150 Would Improve Transparency and Modernize Grant Reporting in Evidence Based Policymaking

BPC Action encourages the House of Representatives to approve the Grant Reporting Efficiency and Agreements Transparency (GREAT) Act H.R. 150, which provides a common-sense approach to modernizing federal grant reporting that will increase transparency for the American public and reduce grantee compliance burdens.

The bipartisan bill also makes progress on recommendations presented to Congress by the U.S. Commission on Evidence-Based Policymaking, enabling availability of data on state-administered federal programs, improving data quality by using data standards, and supporting evaluation of federal programs and policies that can inform future policy decisions.
