Infrastructure Coalition Welcomes New Members in Infrastructure

Washington, D.C.– The Bipartisan Policy Center’s Executive Council on Infrastructure today announces more than 30 new members of the Coalition to Modernize America’s Infrastructure. The coalition, launched last month, is united in support of four principles:

  • Infrastructure — including transportation, energy, broadband, water, and wastewater — must be a national priority in order to ensure future economic prosperity.
  • Robust, reliable, long-term federal funding is essential.
  • The United States should unleash the resources of the private sector as partners in addressing our infrastructure needs.
  • The United States should adopt policies to deliver modern infrastructure more quickly and at less cost.

The new coalition members come from a variety of infrastructure sectors and represent both public and private investment interests. New coalition partners join Steering Committee members Business Roundtable, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Manufacturers, National Governors Association, North America’s Building Trades Unions, and SIFMA.
