14 Sep Over 70 Companies and Organizations Call on Senate to Pass American Energy Innovation Act this Congress in Energy and Environment
In a letter to Senate Majority Leader McConnell and Minority Leader Schumer, BPC Action joins over 70 other companies and organizations urging passage of the American Energy Innovation Act (AEIA) this Congress.
The AEIA represents one of the most consequential legislation initiatives for modernizing America’s energy policies in more than a decade. A cumulative result of 72 senators sponsoring or cosponsoring more than 50 bills, the AEIA represents the collaborative policymaking for which Americans now yearn.
Additionally, the AEIA would:
- Boost economic growth;
- Preserve and protect jobs that will make the U.S. more secure; and
- Help meet our global climate challenges.
We urge the Senate to pass the American Energy Innovation Act this Congress.
